This year, in my
birthday, my family give me the best present in the world: a travel to the Tuscany.
That’s why last Friday we flew to Italy. So, in this entry, I want to explain what we did in
Italy and which villages and cities we visited, day by day.
First day, 7th
of October, we took a flight from Girona to Pisa. When we arrived, we rented a
car because we wanted to visit a lot of villages. So with our car we went to
Lucca, a beautiful village, where we rented a cheap house named Il loft di Andrea. Once installed we
spend the afternoon visiting Lucca.
The second day, 8th
of October, we woke up early to took a car and visit three villages: Siena, San
Gimignano and Volterra. These three was so pretty and I loved their medieval
streets and their squares and monuments. In each village we visited the most
important cathedrals, monuments and streets because we didn’t have a lot of
time. In Volterra was filmed New moon of the
Twilight Saga and In San Gimignano we could see an amazing view.
The third day we woke up early again and we went from Lucca to Firenze in
our car. When we arrived we visit old town. We also ate typical Italian food
which was so delicious. Finally in the afternoon we took a tourist bus and we
went to viewpoint to see all Firenze. We also went with tourist bus to visit
Fistole, a village next to Firenze. I love all Firenze but I really love la piazza di la signora, il Duomo and il Ponte Vecchio. Then we went to slept in our loft in Lucca.
Last day we woke up
early and we packed our bags and cleaned the house because we have to hand over the keys. Then we went to visit Livorno,
another beautiful village with an incredible harbor. Finally we went to ate and
visited a little bit the village of Pisa and then we visited the Piazza dei Miracoli where we took a
photos with landing tower. At night we took a flight to Girona and we arrived
at home very late.
I forget to say that in these four days we ate a lot of pasta, lasagna,
pizza, gelatto, cappuccino and chocolate. We ate a lot of Italian dishes and I
love typical Italian food.
