In English class, months ago, we read a very good book called The Best of Times? By Alan Maley. This book is about a Malaysian boy, Chee Seng, that is 16 years and he explains the best and the worst of his life. It also is about the teenagers age and we can read about the teenage behavior.

After an exam book we watch in class a movie that it is related to the book because it also is about teenagers life and behavior. The name of this movie is thirteen.

In this entry I’m gonna talk about the differences I can see between the movie and the book.

First of all, I think the biggest difference is the ages of the main character, in the book the protagonist is a sixteen boy and in the movie is a thirteen girl. I think that the movie are more exaggerated.

Then I see a little differences for example that in book, the main character, is a boy and in the movie the protagonist is a girl. It also have a difference for example in the end because the mother didn’t go to the hospital. Or that the father in the book tries to recover de relation of his soon and in the movie the father ignores a little bit his daughter or in the movie the toxic friend just betraying the protagonist.
