TYPICAL POLISH FOOD

In this entry I'm gonna talk about the typical polish food. The reasons I chose this topic are because weeks ago I went to Poland and one of the reasons why my biggest dream is travel around the world are taste different foods from different cultures and I could have the experience to taste typical polish food.
The most typical polish food are find into dark bread, noodles, dumplings, and other everyday foods. Besides other agricultural products includes potatoes, beets, cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, and cucumbers. These are essentials for cook the typical dishes but in this entry I don't want to explain the traditional cereals and vegetables grown but I would like explain my experience and the dishes that I tasted and of course a little history about the typical dishes.
Well, the days we stayed there we tasted a delicious dishes typical polish but we also ate another type of dishes, for example an Italian food. But the typical polish dishes we tasted were:

·
Pierogi (dumplings): Are a ball of dough that we could decide what type of food we want to fill it. For example the days I stayed there I tasted pierogis of cheese, cabbage, lentils and meat (that are the most famous).

·        The soups in Poland are so delicious and so consistent because there it's so cold. There are a lot of type of soup and when we went to a restaurant every day there was a "the soup of the day" and, of course, we tasted that. The name of this on, after a long research because there are a lot of name of soup, is Sour rye soup. That was a soup made of soured rye flour, meat (usually boiled pork sausage or pieces of smoked sausage, bacon or ham).

·         Special hamburger: In my days there I tasted a hamburger so delicious, the most delicious of my life. That hamburger was made of boneless beef with lettuce, carrot, onion and two types of sauce that I don't know exactly what types of sauces were. It also was made with a special bread that not was the typical bread of hamburger. And a part of the hamburger, the dish also had chips.

·         Bread: The first day we was there, we went to a restaurant, decorated so beautiful, and we ate a lot. There we tasted a black or dark brown bread that was weird but the flavor was nice.

·         Meat: In the same restaurant where we tasted the bread and soup, we tasted a dish of meat with sauce that I don’t remember what type of meat was but was so delicious like all dishes I tasted there.

In our days there, we also went to milk bar or in polish "bar mleczny" was a bar where a lot of years ago the working people and the poor citizen went to ate very cheap. We decided go there because this type of bar have a history and it's a culinary experience that we couldn't left without visit that place. For me is like a monument that we have to visit for learn history.
In our trip we went to Warsaw, where also have a milk bar but we couldn't go there because was so late, but we did a day trip to Krakow and we found a milk bar there, of course, we ate there and was a magic experience because the bar was decorate so beautiful and it also a little weird.
Apart from typical dishes that more or less I have named, in Krakow's milk bar we tasted a drink typical of there. That was like a sweet juice but I didn't know the ingredients but it also was delicious.
